ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reiterated that PTI-led federal government was determined to build a corruption-free society.
FM Qureshi issued a video message today (Saturday) on the occasion of 24th Foundation Day of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
He said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan was determined to build a corruption-free society by holding across-the-board accountability of all corrupt elements without any discrimination.”
The foreign minister felicitated and expressed good wishes to all party leaders, members, and workers. He also expressed tribute to PTI stalwarts, including Naeemul-Haque and Ahsan Rasheed.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, “Pakistan has made progress by leaps and bounds owing to matchless sacrifices rendered by these leaders.”
The foreign minister further said that the government was committed to supporting downtrodden segments of society through Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.
The Foreign Minister also said that Pakistan secured several successes on the diplomatic front under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier today (Saturday), FM Qureshi asserted that Pakistan has enhanced the capacity to bring back seven thousand stranded nationals from abroad every week.
Addressing the United States-based Pakistanis through video link, he assured the people that this figure will increase in the coming week.
FM Qureshi also said that it was the government’s topmost priority to bring back all the registered – sixty thousand – stranded nationals before Eid-ul-Fitr.
