PESHAWAR: As many as 50 new cases of the novel COVID-19 were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with four more deaths from the disease during the past 24 hours.
According to the KP health department, the provincial tally of coronavirus cases stands at 912, while the number of deaths has climbed to 42.
On a social media website Twitter, the officials said that 13 more patients have recovered from the disease, taking the tally of those recovered to 191 in the province.

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government had announced details of the partial lockdown in the province until 30 April amid coronavirus outbreak.
According to a notification issued from the KP government, the decisions taken at the provincial cabinet meeting, all education activities would remain suspended in the province during the lockdown.
The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan have surged to 6,300 after new cases were reported in several areas across the country on Wednesday.
According to government data, the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan rose after new 151 new cases were reported during the past 24 hours.
According to the National Command and Control Centre, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached 117, while at least 1,500 patients have fully recovered across the country.
