ISLAMABAD: Guards of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) foiled an attempt to conceal a medicine laden truck brought to deal with coronavirus pandemic.
According to details, the PIMS administration tried to conceal a truck laden of medicines and drugs in a bid to sell it to the general market.
Relevant sources claimed that the federal government provided 3 trucks loaded with all types of medicine to deal with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Sources further claimed that the PIMS administration shifted the medications from two trucks to the hospital store and the third truck was brought to the main gate to conceal along with the drugs.
Meanwhile, the hospitals’ guards stopped the truck at the main gate and recovered all medications from the truck. The administration threatened guards to not inform higher authorities regarding the case.
Sources claimed that this was certainly not the first attempt to conceal the truck and the administration is trying to suppress the matter.
