ISLAMABAD: Most housing projects of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) were delayed due to the poor planning of authorities.
According to the relevant sources, the housing authority was facing a delay in the development of projects due to the limited capacity of its employees and lack of professionals.
Sources revealed that the housing authority wasn’t taking any practical steps instead of having wider powers to ensure the development of the housing projects, adding that the concerns of the present employees have increased further.
Sources further revealed that the authority has taken millions of rupees from the members of the FGEHA for completion of the project, however, no steps were taken.
More than 3,000 members have been waiting for the acquisition of plots since 2009 in Barakhau, sources claimed.
Similarly, the housing authority failed to provide land acquisition and legal rights in Sector F-14 and F-15 to its members because of poor planning.
