RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi district health department has confirmed 21 members of a family were tested positive for coronavirus.
According to a health official, one of the members who came from the London died from the COVID-19, while a France-returned woman was in critical condition, the official said.
The other members of a family were tested positive for coronavirus after the woman was first diagnosed with the diseases.
The health officials said the tests of other family members carried out as a precautionary measure revealed that others were also infected. The officials said attempts were being made to trace those connected with the family.
A relative of the family also came from the UK and the deputy commission will decided whether to isolate patients at home or hospital, it added.
