ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has asked the successful hajj 2020 applicants to submit applications for refunding of their deposited money back for any reason.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry, the refund forms could be acquired from the website: www.hajjinfo.org. The forms should be submitted to Account Officer (Refund), Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kohsar Block, first floor, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad.
It further stated that considering the request the ministry will issue a refund authority letter, allowing the applicant to get deposited money back from the relevant bank branch.
It said another application should be submitted to Section Officer (Hajj Policy) appealing the authorization to allow his/her blood relative as alternate to perform hajj in Government Hajj Scheme on his place.
On 13 March, in cooperation with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Rafiq-e-Hajj Committee had announced to begin Hajj training of selected pilgrims from 20 March.
A representative of the Rafiq-e-Hajj Committee, Babu Imran Qureshi told that the training would facilitate pilgrims to perform the holy religious obligation according to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
He said the ministry was expected to pronounce the inclusive Hajj training schedule of the intending pilgrims of the government Hajj scheme next week.
He said teams of Rafiq-e-Hujjaj Committee master trainers were performing the religious obligation in 35 cities in the country for the last over three decades on their own expenditure.
