ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society administrator Gohar Zaman Wazir has been accused of illegal actions.
As per reports acquired from the members, hundreds of canals of land have been occupied at three different sites in the society during the current administration.
Gohar Zaman has neglected the data of Society, which can later become a huge problem. There are no security guards available in society as well making it more unsafe.
Administrator Gohar Zaman Wazir has made the society’s resources and records unsafe to bring in his preferred company; neither the members nor the members have been constituted in this regard, the society members complained.
It is to be noted here that more than 7,000 members of the society have been recorded in the society’s office so there could be no record of theft or some other unfortunate incident due to lack of security.
Society members claimed that on our lifetime earnings were at stake due to the current situation in the society, while on the other hand, the current administration’s illegal actions have put society’s resources at stake.
Members of the society added that several housing societies are being investigated at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and other investigating institutions, including in the courts.
Society members are in serious concern that the continued situation can bring a lockdown in society.
Members demanded that those found guilty of corruption in the society should be punished according to the law.
