ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has demanded the international community to lift restrictions on Iran in order to help the country fight coronavirus.
During the interview with a foreign news agency, the prime minister also urged the community to provide debt relief to under-developed countries already suffering from the coronavirus.
Imran Khan further said that the debt relief would enable economically unstable countries to fight the disease.
The coronavirus has affected around 162 countries in the world. There are more than 180,000 total cases across the globe while the death toll has surpassed 6500.
In Pakistan, the number of coronavirus cases has reached to 183.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today via video conference to discuss a 2-point agenda at 2:00 pm at the PM House.
The cabinet in the meeting will discuss the on-going situation that has been emerged in the country after the outbreak of coronavirus. The review over the decision taken in the on-going National Security Council (NSC) meeting will also be discussed.
