LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has claimed that the cause of death for a person who passed away at Mayo Hospital in Lahore was not coronavirus.
Usman Buzdar took to Twitter and said that the provincial government has received the test reports of the patient – Imran Ali – who lost his life in Mayo Hospital and his cause of death was not COVID-19.
He further confirmed that so far Punjab has reported 8 cases of coronavirus and was being provided best available treatment.

CM Usman Buzdar also urged the people of Pakistan to act responsibly in this tough situation.
Earlier today, Health Minister for Punjab Dr. Yasmeen Rashid had confirmed the man’s death and said that his test results were awaited.
Coronavirus has spread in almost 160 countries and has claimed lives of more than 7,000 people around the world. In Pakistan, so far 193 cases have been confirmed and Sindh has become the worst affected province of the country.
