KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators beat Karachi Kings by 5 wickets in the last match of the group stage of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 at the National Stadium Karachi.
However, Karachi Kings have reached the semi-finals of the Pakistan Super League and will face Lahore Qalandars on 17th march.
Quetta Gladiators easily chased the target of 154 runs for 5 wickets with 22 balls in spare. Shane Watson and Khurram Manzoor both scored half-centuries.
Shane Watson scored 66 runs in just 34 balls, whereas, Khurram Manzoor scored 63 runs in 40 balls. Ali Khan and Arshad Iqbal from conceded most runs for Karachi side.
‘1st innings’
Karachi Kings scored 150 runs for 5 wickets. Cameron Delport was the highest scorer of their side as he scored 62 runs in 44 balls.
While Chadwick Walton scored 26 runs and Babar Azam scored 32 runs in 34 balls. Imad Wasim was rested for today’s match.
