NBA has suspended its season after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for coronavirus – which has killed more than 4,000 people across the world.
According to an international news agency, the player was tested positive before the game against the Thunder, and the game was also postponed.
The league said, “NBA is suspending gameplay following the conclusion of tonight’s schedule of games until further notice.”
The league further said that the affected player was not present in the arena and was being treated by health officials.
Health officials are working to identify the people who have had close enough contact with the affected player.
