KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) exams in Sindh would be held as per schedule.
In a statement issued by the Sindh Information Department, the minister said Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nisar Ahmed Khuhro have already made preparations for the exams.
He said Sindh government had announced the closure of educational institutions across the province in the wake of coronavirus spread, he added now the provincial government was criticised for announcing to close schools, he lamented.
The information minister’s remarks came shortly after nine new coronavirus cases emerged in the metropolis, jumping the provincial tally up to 14.
Nasir Hussain Shah had urged staff members of both government and private educational institutions to make sure their presence at schools beginning March 9 and to collect the admit cards from the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
