ISLAMABAD: The OIC Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir, Yousef M Al Dobeay has assured to take all essential measures to lighten the miseries of the Kashmiris people and assist resolve the issue according to the desires of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Special Envoy who concluded his visit to Pakistan stressed that the Jammu and Kashmir is a globally recognized dispute which calls for its peaceful conclusion in accordance with the relevant UN and OIC resolutions.
During the stay in Pakistan, Yousef M Al Dobeay and his team called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and held meetings with the Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.
The top Pakistani high-ups lauded OIC’s resolute support for the people of Kashmir, on the whole in the upshot of India’s one-sided and illegal actions.
During its visit to the LoC at Chakothi, the OIC Secretary-General and his team was briefed about the loss of precious lives and damage of belongings due to frequent unprovoked firings by the Indian troops.
At the refugee camp in Muzaffarabad, the delegation interacted with refugees from IOK to get a first-hand understanding of the sufferings of Kashmiris under India’s illegal occupation.
