ISLAMABAD: The participants of the Aurat March in Islamabad today (Sunday) came under stone-pelting which left several people injured.
The incident occurred when two different rallies were held in Islamabad one of the rally participants tried to enter in Aurat Azadi March.
After this incident, a few participants of the Azadi march began throwing stones at the gathering in front of Islamabad Press Club.
Many people were injured in this incident including JUI-F finance Secretary Abdul Zahir Kakar.
Police and organisers struggled to control the situation as shoes and sticks were also thrown into the crowd by miscreants.
