KARACHI: Professor Dr Arif Zubair the acting vice-chancellor of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast) expressed his profound grief over the sad demise of a varsity’s senior teacher Farukh Usman his wife and son.
Farukh Usman, a professor of Karachi’s Federal Urdu University and his family died in Karachi’s Golimar building collapse incident on Thursday night.
The acting vice-chancellor said Farukh Usman’s enormous contribution and hard work for the department of Business Administration would be remembered always.
He said Usman was an immense source of inspiration for young Businessmen, especially students. This is indeed an irreplaceable loss. May Allah Almighty give strength to his heirs to bear with this enormous loss.
“On behalf of Federal Urdu University, we pray for the departed soul and hope that his soul rests in peace.” He added.
