The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to raise breast cancer awareness during Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi on March 7.
According to details, the officials, players, and commentators will put on pink ribbons during the matches on March 7.
The digital screens on the selected venues will display message on breast cancer awareness.
The bails on the wickets will be coloured pink as part of PCB’s initiative of public awareness campaigns.
In this regard PCB Chief Executive, Wasim Khan has said, “PCB has been supporting the Pink Ribbon cause for breast cancer awareness for the past three years.”
Wasim Khan said that it is a humble contribution from the PCB towards raising awareness against cancer and it was our collective responsibility to help the cause.
On March 7, Lahore Qalandars will face Quetta Gladiators in Lahore, while Peshawar Zalmi will face Islamabad United at Rawalpindi Stadium.
