ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Monday said mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cold in upper parts during the next twelve hours.
According to PMD, Temperature of major cities recorded on Monday morning: Islamabad and Gilgit six degree centigrade, Peshawar eight, Lahore twelve, Karachi fifteen, Quetta minus-one, Muzaffarabad five and Murree four degree centigrade.
Meteorological Department has predicted that rain and light snow may occur at some places in Chitral and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Snow is also expected in high mountain areas in Malakand and Gilgit-Baltistan.
It further stated a westerly wave is present over the upper parts of the country and likely to persist over the upper and central parts of the country during a week.
