ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting on 18 February to discuss a 16-point agenda at PM House Islamabad.
The meeting would be briefed on the regulatory bill on pulses, as well as discussing the gas and electricity prices.
The cabinet is likely to agree on the selection of Pakistan Nursing Council members, the establishment of a child commission and the establishment of the permanent secretariat of the Council of Common Interest (CCI).
The Council of Common Interest secretariat will be set up in the Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination. The meeting will also talk about the issues relating to Pakistan Steel Mills Corporation.
the federal cabinet meeting is also expected to approve a one-time exception for the import of pesticides from India, while the appointment of the managing director of the Pakistan Petroleum Development Corporation will under dissuasion.
According to the agenda, a presentation will also be given on the performance of various ministries and their subordinate institutions.
