ISLAMABAD: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office today (Saturday).
According to details, Governor Punjab briefed PM Imran on Aab-e-Pak Authority project, which aimed to provide safe drinking water to Punjab.
At the occasion, Governor Punjab said that the provincial government is installing water filter plants across Punjab to facilitate the people.
He further informed the premier that under the project, 20 million people will be provided with drinkable water by June 2020.
On April 28, 2019, Chaudhry Sarwar said that water filtration and purification plants will be installed across Punjab under Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority (PAPA).
