ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari on Thursday said that our women have made the nation proud on all fronts.
Her statement came after the United Nation’s tweet in which the UN had highlighted how Pakistani women were serving for peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
These Pakistani women are #ServingForPeace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are military personnel, police officers, software engineers, psychologists, doctors & gender advisers.

In her tweet, Mazari wrote that women peacekeepers might help resolve many controversies confronting UN peacekeepers today.

Mazari earlier on Wednesday in a tweet wrote that human kindness was how a government should connect with its people, especially the poor and marginalised.
She posted a tweet in which she embedded a video that was about a shelter home initiated by the government in which it had provided a place to sleep to around 150 people. The shelter home in Punjab facilitated the homeless with food, first aid and twice to eat.
