Concerns over the outbreak of the coronavirus in Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been increased as the arrangements were completed for the Pakistani students and the families returning from the mainland Wuhan, China.
As per details, the Pakistani families and the students will stay in three blocks of the Hajj complex which are 6, 7, and 8. Almost 44 million has been spent on cleaning and whitewashing of the blocks.
The wall adjacent to the Hajj Complex was an orphanage hostel in which 5,000 thousand students were living. Rafah University is also present there, in which 6,000 students were currently studying.
Within the Hajj complex, 22 families of the Hajj Complex’s officials were living, who are currently in panic as the students and families coming from China will be living in the Hajj complex from next Monday.
Panic has been created among the local residents of the outbreak of coronavirus, and they are requesting that the people coming from China should be kept outside of the population.
According to relevant sources, in the meetings between the Ministry of Health and the Hajj Ministry, a proposal was presented that the students coming from China should be stayed outside of the city but the proposal was not accepted.
Sources further informed that the Rafah International University also offered medical facilities and a 200-bed Islamic college for the people coming from China. However, both ministries didn’t accept the proposal and allegedly use Rs 44 million in the cleaning and whitewashing of the blocks.
