ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar lamented the country’s economy was destroyed during the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N’s) previous tenure.
Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Hammad Azhar said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf government has been making up for the deficits that resulted from flawed policies of previous PPP and PML-N government.
Hammad Azhar also claimed that the crisis of electricity and gas was a fallout of the past government’s projects.
Commenting on Foreign reserves, Hammad Azhar said that foreign reserves of the country jumped 50 percent since July, last year.
He assured that the government would bring circular debt to ‘zero’ this year.
