LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five starting from February 20.
Elite umpires of the International Cricket Council (ICC) were included in the PSL 5 umpiring panel.
The umpires are England’s Richard Illingworth and Michael Gough along with Sri Lanka Ranmore Martinez.
Richard Illingworth will start with Faisal Khan Afridi as an on-field umpire for the opening match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United at the National Stadium.
Sri Lanka’s Roshan Mahanama will lead the playing control team and Asif Yaqoob as the third umpire and Syed Imtiaz Iqbal as the fourth umpire in the opening match.
Ranmore Martinez will be the official for the third match at the Gaddafi Stadium between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.
Three-time ICC Umpire of the Year, Aleem Dar is scheduled to umpire in 10, 11 and 15 March matches at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Five new officials were included in the panel those are Aslam Bareach, Majid Hussain, Nasir Hussain, Saqib Khan, and Syed Imtiaz Iqbal.
