SUKKUR: Mayor Sukkur Arslan Shaikh on Friday ordered authorities to clear encroachments from the drains and sewerage lines aimed to improve the sewerage system across the district.
The Mayor called upon the local people to cooperate with the administration in their measures to improve the water sewerage network in the city.
During his visits to different union councils of the city along with the officials of Taluka Municipal Administration New Sukkur and other relevant departments here Shaikh warned that departmental action would be taken against encroachers.
Mayor also instructed officials of Taluka Municipal Administration to complete all essential arrangements to handle during the upcoming expected rains.
He had directed the anti-encroachment officials to carry out action against all encroachments in the city. He also ordered to make sure that such encroachments did not emerge again once they were removed.
