Provincial leaders express solidarity on Kashmir Day

LAHORE/PESHAWAR/KARACHI/QUETTA: The nation marked the Kashmir Solidarity with rallies and protests to show solidarity and support toward the people of the restive region who are battling Indian atrocities and a continued communication blackout.
In Peshawar, The main function in connection Kashmir Solidarity day was held at Nishtar Hall. Addressing the function, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan strongly condemned the Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris in the occupied territory.
The chief minister asked the United Nations to implement its resolutions on Kashmir and allow the Kashmiri people to decide their future by themselves. Later a walk was also taken out to highlight the sacrifices of Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said Kashmiri people are not alone in their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation as entire Pakistani nation is with them.
Addressing a rally in Lahore to express solidarity with people of Occupied Kashmir, he said Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral and diplomatic support to their Kashmiri brethren for their just cause of right to self-determination.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has also condemned in strongest words the Indian brutalities against innocent Kashmiri people.
Addressing a rally in Karachi to express solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir, he demanded to lodge a case in the International Court of Justice against Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, leaders of different political parties, Hurriyet leaders and a large number of people participated in the rally.
In his message on the occasion, Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai said people of Balochistan fully support their Kashmiri brethren struggling for their right to plebiscite.
Addressing a special ceremony at Scouts Headquarters in Quetta, he said the constant brutal and inhuman acts being carried out by the Indian leadership and it occupant forces against the innocent and armless Kashmiris have exposed their real face before the entire world.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan strongly condemned the Modi regime for continuing human rights violations and suppressing the voice of Kashmiri freedom fighters.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, main rally led by Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman was started from Commissioner Office in Gilgit which turned into a public gathering at Ittehad chowk.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said people of Gilgit-Baltistan stand united with their Kashmiri brethren and not let them alone in this critical time. He demanded to the United Nations to settle Kashmir issue in accordance with his resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiris.
