ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan is not forming a new alliance with Turkey and Malaysia.
In a statement, Firdous Awan said that Pakistan was trying to gather everyone on the platform of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Firdous Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted the Kashmir dispute in his visit to Malaysia alongside the issues of Muslim Ummah.
She expressed that Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad put his business interests at stake for Ummah and, Pakistan will remain indebted to him in this regard.
She hoped that they will be successful in putting Kashmir issue as the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting in September.
She added that Pakistan does not want a war and India must not take its desire for peace as a weakness.
