KARACHI: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Sindh province opened on Sunday morning after 95 hours.
According to the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) notification gas supply at CNG stations has been opened for 12 hours. It will close at 7 pm tonight.
The SSGC spokesperson said the pressure is low from the various gas fields and they are facing problems in providing gas to the domestic consumers too. The further schedule of the CNG station opening will be announced later by keeping the gas pressure in view.
Complaints of low pressure of the gas in many areas of the province have started becoming a frequent nuisance for domestic consumers while management of the SSGC is acting as a silent spectator.
Despite the opening of CNG stations after 95 hours of forced closure at 7 pm, the driver of public transports vehicles again faced problems at different stations due to the low pressure of the gas.
Long queues were seen at different stations and many vehicles could not reach the filling point in the morning time.
