LAHORE: Railway’s Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said, “Let Shehbaz Sharif do the work in London he has went for.”
Addressing a press conference in Lahore today (Saturday), Sheikh Rasheed has said that he wasn’t interested in the return of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif from London, adding that Nawaz Sharif will not come back but his friend (Shehbaz Sharif) will.
The Federal Minister expressed hope that the dispute about appointment of the Chief Election Commission (CEC) would also be resolved.
The Railways Minister said that “serious” cases were about to be lodged against Maryam Nawaz and Shebhaz Sharif.
Regarding Kashmir issue, he said that the government has shown weakness, adding that this time people of Pakistan have reacted more aggressively to the cause unlike in history.
Sheikh Rasheed revealed that in march, the department planned to hire 100,000 employees as large number of workers are retiring.
For the NAB Ordinance, the minister remarked that coordination was ongoing between political parties “behind the curtain”.
