QUETTA: Balochistan High Court (BHC) has granted pre-arrest bail to Senator Sarfraz Bugti in child abduction case of a minor girl today (Friday).
The senator has also been ordered to pay surety bonds worth Rs 0.3 million.
Earlier on Thursday, Sarfraz Bugti was detained after rejection of his bail from Sessions court and was shifted to Cantt police station for interrogation.
Earlier on December 7, a woman lodged an FIR against Sarfraz Bugti accusing him of abducting her 10-year-old granddaughter.
She told, “The court had given me the custody of the girl after the death of her mother, I brought my granddaughter to the family court for meeting with her father Tawakkal Ali.”
The woman continued that the girl’s father Tawakkal Ali forcefully dragged the girl into the car and took her to Senator Sarfraz Bugti’s house.
