ISLAMABAD : The Federal Capital Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has disclosed that the recruits carrying huge sums have affected more than 800 ISCO employees.
As per informed sources, the union fraudulently recruited employees in the quota of employees against whom the children of the affected employees have referred to the Islamabad High Court.
The sources added that 1534 recruits were in process at ISCO but recruitment was being made on the outside of the employees by allegedly offering heavy presents in violation of the quota of employees.
More than 800 ISCO employees have been affected by this illegal process up till now. In this regard, certified papers have been submitted under the Employer Quota Application Procedure (SOP).
However, corrupt officials and union gangs have submitted the papers of like-minded people after the fake certificates have been filed and these unrelated individuals were being recruited into the quota of employees.
Even on 70 percent of merit posts, the corrupt tolls have started recruiting like-minded people and have set a separate rate for each post.
It is to be noted that former ISCO chief executive officer had also repeated an illegal act in the recruits against which the affected persons approached the Karachi company.
Hydro Union Regional Secretary Haji Zahir Gul, along with ISCO Chief Executive Officer Chaudhry Shahid Iqbal and DG Mohammad Zubair Khan, have also taken up the matter and have started implementing the policy of suppression.
