ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has dismissed the bail plea of suspect Abdul Jawed accused in an attempted murder on his wife.
SC Justice Qazi Faez Esa conducted the hearing in which he ordered police to arrest Abdul Jawed after the court ruled against the accused. The presiding judge remarked the wife of the accused herself named the husband who attempted to kill her.
During the hearing, the lawyer of the accused stated that the Jawed did not injure his wife. To this, Justice remarked that if the husband did not injure his wife then he would know that who had injured his wife. “Your wife was injured at home and you do not know?” remarked the judge.

The lawyer defended his lawyer by saying that the accused was not present at the home at the time of the incident. The judge once again remarked that the wife herself has accused that it was that the husband who injured her.
