ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) on Monday announced that Facebook has stopped the Radio Pakistan’s live streaming of news bulletins for covering violence, curfew and military lockdown in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Many screenshots shared on the Radio Pakistan website showed a caveat message from Facebook, saying that “your post violated our Community Standards on perilous persons and organizations.”
The screenshots were indicated that Facebook has a history of censoring Radio Pakistan’s content a practice it may have repeated on the broadcast of its live streaming content.
The caveat, according to screenshots shared, had received PBC on several posts that indicate the picture of Kashmiri freedom fighter, including, mujahid commander Zakir Musa.
However, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation said on Monday that the organization would take alternate measurements on YouTube for live streaming.
It is worthy to mention here that Radio Pakistan continuously cover the worsening situation in occupied Kashmir, and revealing Indian forces cruelties at every podium.
It was suggested that growing pressure from India Facebook and Twitter had earlier suspended hundreds of individuals’ accounts and detached several pro-Kashmir posts from Pakistan.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had approached both Facebook and Twitter officials and stiffed complaints against their measures.
