NEW YORK: Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari has said that an attack on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) is a shameful act.
Zulfi Bukhari posted a tweet about the PIC incident that happened earlier on Wednesday that people lost their lives at the hospital due to such acts.

Bukhari wrote, “Sad to see all that went on in #Lahore today. NO-ONE stands above the law.”
He added, “6 people losing their lives at a hospital due to the mob behavior is criminal.. and shameful to say the least! #PICunderattack.”
The medical services remain suspended in PIC’s emergency and outdoor wards, after the attack by the lawyers.
It all started a couple of days ago when the doctors and hospital staff at the PIC beat up a lawyer who had brought his mother to the hospital for treatment. As a result of doctors’ negligence, the health of the lawyer’s mother worsened.
