BEIJING: Taiwan born model turned actor Godfrey Gao died due to heart attack on the set of a TV show in China during wee hours of Thursday.
A 35-year-old actor was filming a Chinese show. Godfrey Gao was reportedly rushed to hospital where he died after nearly three hours later.

Chinese media reported that Gao was filming Chinese series, while he was running during a shoot he collapsed on the floor.

Gao was the first Asian male model for the luxury brand, Louis Vuitton. He acted in numerous television dramas and movies, including a role in the Hollywood film “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.”
