KARACHI: CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited a private hospital and National Institute of Child Health to inquire about the health of Raza aged 40, injured in police firing and Hassan aged 5, bitten by dogs.
The Chief Minister went to a private hospital where Raza who had sustained bullet injury fired by police at Cantt Station was under treatment. He told Murad Ali Shah that he was settled in Canada and had come back to the motherland last year. “Now, I’ll return to Canada,” Raza said.
Murad Ali Shah has said that he has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident and the policemen who had fired and were in the police mobile have been arrested. “It is our responsibility to provide you justice,” the CM said.
On the other hand, CM Sindh went to NICH to visit Hasnain, aged 5, who was badly wounded by dogs in Larkana. On the CM’s directives, the child was shifted to the National Institute of Child Health.
The chief minister told the Director NICH Jamal Raza and father of the child, Ghulam Hassan that he was ready to send the child to any hospital within Pakistan or abroad for saving the life of the child. Dr. Jamal Raza said that his team was making all-out efforts to save his life and his condition was not so stable to shift him out of the country.
The Chief Minister directed the NICH director to keep him posting a day to day report about the health of the child and keep extraordinary care.
