ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has extended the judicial remand of former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till 26th November in the fake account case.
The court extended the judicial remand of both politicians for 14 days whereas an argument followed in the court among the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor and Sardar Ayaz Latif Khosa, representing Asif Ali Zardari.
Prosecutor Khosa demanded that his client, Zardari, must be shifted to a hospital in Karachi rather than being treated in the hospitals of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The court and the NAB prosecutor both maintained that such orders were the exemption of the executive body and only they could make a decision on the request.

The court then reserved its verdict on shifting Asif Ali Zardari to Karachi.
The brother-sister duo is among 30 accused nominated in the reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau.
Both Zardari and Talpur were arrested by the accountability bureau earlier this year on charges of laundering billions of rupees through fictitious accounts.
The money laundering case refers to the embezzlement of Rs4.4 billion. NAB has accused Zardari and Talpur of owning shares of the Zardari Group, a company that received some of the embezzled funds.
