ISLAMABAD: The nation will observe ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ today to express unity with the Kashmiris in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Public rallies will be organized across Pakistan to express solidarity with Kashmiris and share feelings with the people of occupied Kashmir.
The day is being marked to show solidarity with the people of the occupied valley and draw the world’s attention to the plight of Kashmiri people.
Exhibitions and photo competitions on Kashmir issue will be held across the country, including in the federal capital, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. The Islamabad event will be organized at Constitution Avenue.

Rallies and public meetings will be held across the country to protest against the brutalities and grave human rights abuses in IoK.
Pakistan has been observing Black Day since October on every Friday, to express solidarity with the Kashmiris in IoK.
The curfew and communication blackout continued across IoK on the 89th consecutive day on Friday and The valley is under a continued military siege since August.
