ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday said that he intends to honour the agreement between Islamabad administration and the Rehbar Committee.
During an interview to a private news channel, Fazl said that the government can no longer give NRO to Azadi March demonstrators.
“Now it’s time we give the NRO,” said Fazl. “It is up to us to decide, how much time the PM has in power,” he added.
Fazl explained that the Azadi March was joined by people from all walks of life.
“See for yourself, our march is spread out over miles,” he said. “The prime minister has to go. We have demanded his resignation, now let’s see in how many days he decides to resign,” he added.

While answering the questions on the show, Fazl said that the JUI-F would fulfill the agreement it had reached with the Govt. administration.
“The government has not fulfilled its end of the agreement but I intend to,” he said. “They stopped our buses and threatened transporters to dissuade them from taking part in the march.”
The coming days will tell how the situation will shape up. However, persuading the people not to cross the Red Zone is intended, said JUI-F chief.
