ISLAMABAD: Asad Umar Former finance minister while speaking to the press on Friday said that JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman has said that Azadi March protesters may march to D-Chowk, which means that he wants to leave his options open.
Azadi March protest was held in collaboration with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.
Fazl gave Imran Khan a two-day ultimatum to either resign or his followers would ‘arrest’ him from the PM Office by force.
“They all know that the plan has failed.” “It is very clear to the Opposition that resignation of the PM is not going to happen at any cost,” said Asad.
The two-day ultimatum given by the JUI-F’s leader was only to think of his options through, said the former finance minister.
“He wasn’t clear in saying the march will proceed to D-Chowk. He was trying to hint towards it, which means Fazl is leaving his options open,” he added.
