ISLAMABAD: The government’s committee and opposition will hold a formal discussion session on Friday regarding Jamiat Ulema-i-Islami (JUI-F) ‘Azadi March’.
According to reports, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak-led negotiating team would formally sit with Rehbar Committee along with the representatives of all opposition parties.

The meeting will take place at the residence of JUI-F leader Akram Khan Durrani.
Earlier on Wednesday, the government permitted to hold the ‘Azadi March’ mentioning that it should be conducted within limits of the law and the Constitution.

“It was decided that the Government, with its firm belief in upholding democratic ideals, would allow the proposed ‘Azadi March’, if it takes place within the ambit of law and the Constitution as interpreted in the decisions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Islamabad High Court.”
On 3rd October, Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced to hold the Azadi march in Islamabad on 31st October.
