ISLAMABAD: India and Pakistan are likely to sign Kartarpur Corridor agreement tomorrow on October 24, said foreign office spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Faisal on Wednesday.

The spokesperson said a mechanism has been evolved for the visits of Sikh pilgrims to Gurdawara Darbar Sahib. He said the pilgrims will come in the morning and go back in the evening. He said full details of the Kartarpur agreement will be shared after its signing.
The spokesperson said each visiting Sikh pilgrim will have to pay 20 dollars service charges.
India had earlier demanded to eradicate $20 fee imposed by Pakistan per pilgrim. On the other hand, Pakistan had submitted final draft of the bilateral agreement to New Delhi on the October 11.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan also agreed on the demand made by India to allow Zoroastrians, Christians etc along with Hindu devotees to visit the shrine of Baba Guru Nanak Devji.

It is mentioned in the agreement that at least 5,000 pilgrims will be visiting the shrine every day. India will share the list of pilgrims 10 days before the trip and Pakistan will permit the visit four days before the travel of devotees after conducting verification and other legal formalities.
