The government has decided to invite Chinese companies to set up solar panels and lithium battery manufacturing units.
Sources said that Pakistan is offering attractive incentives to Chinese companies regarding these projects and other investment.
During a meeting with CEO of MERA PC Solution, located in Beijing, Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry made the offer saying Pakistan is one of the countries with remarkable potential in the fields of solar and lithium battry manufacturing.
Not only this, for exports, Pakistan has sufficient opportunities for Middle East, Afghanistan, Africa and Central Asia, added the Minister for Science and Technology.
In his offer, He also assured that the government will also provide complete support in terms of land, human resource and technical support to the Chinese companies.
On this occasion, the CEO of MERA PC Soluations also showed determination to send technology to Pakistan in order to boost local manufacturing.
