ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Karachi was the economic hub of Pakistan.
Firdous Ashiq Awan posted on twitter that it was the primary responsibility of the government to make Karachi strong.
Awan added that the prime minister was authorized to reduce the sufferings of the people of Karachi.

Awan further added that people of Sindh wanted to get rid of ‘Chopat Raj’ which meant a mess.
“PM along with MQM and GDA leaders will pave the way for reforms in Karachi,” she said.
Calling Karachi a Babul Islam, Awan said that Karachi has held historic importance in Sindh.
She added that the prime minister would also meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members and allies at Governor House today during his one-day Karachi visit.
