ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday presented the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) former director Javed Hussain in the accountability court in the Park Lane case.
During the hearing, Javed Hussain turned an approver against former president Asif Ali Zardari in the same case which that means giving full disclosure about crime in return for a pardon.
The former director was produced under strict security arrangements made outside as the expiry of his physical remand under the custody of the NAB exp[ries today.
The Park Lane case has been registered under different sections of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999, and the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010.

Asif Ali Zardari has been accused of being involved in extending the loan and its misappropriation by M/s Parthenon Private Limited, M/S Park Lane Estate Private Limited, and others.
On 4th October, an accountability court extended judicial remand of Zardari till 22nd of the same month in the money laundering through fake bank accounts and Park Lane Estate Company references.
