LAHORE: The session court has reserved its verdict over the interim bail of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President’s husband Captain retired Safdar.
According to details, the session court Judge Muhammad Tajammal Shahzad heard the plea of Captain (r) Safdar seeking an extension in his bail.
The court reserved its verdict over Captain (r) Safdar after hearing the arguments from both sides.
While talking outside of the court, Captain (r) Safdar said that Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F)’s Azadi March would prove to be the last nail in the coffin of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
He further said that the country has been passing through a critical crisis of its history as inflation and unemployment have reached a record high and the people want to get rid of it at any cost.
Captain (r) Safdar added, “JUI-F’s Azadi March is a movement to rescue the constitution and parliament.”

It is to be noted that Safdar had participated in the clashes between PML-N workers and police during party’s vice president Maryam Nawaz’s court appearance in Lahore.
Last month, Safdar and 14 PML-N workers were booked by the police for hurling threats at policemen during the court appearance of party leaders. The PML-N workers were charged under Sections 186, 147, 149 and 353 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
