KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri who banned the word ‘selected’ in the Lower House has been de-seated.
The remarks of PPP chairperson came after the Balochistan High Court (BHC) de-seated Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.
Bilawal in a Tweet said that “Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri who banned the word ‘selected’ in the National Assembly has been de-seated.
Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri who banned the word ‘selected’ in the National Assembly has been de-seated. Turns out 65K votes cast could not be verified. Can’t ban the truth. Soon all selected will have to go.

The Chairman added, “Turns out 65K votes cast could not be verified. Can’t ban the truth. Soon all selected will have to go.”
Earlier on Friday, the election tribunal of the BHC declared the election result in NA-265 null and void, effectively de-seating Qasim Suri.
