LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz will be presented before an accountability court today in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to details, Maryam Nawaz and her cousin Yousaf Abbas will be produced before an accountability court as their physical remand ends today.
Strict security measures have been arranged to avoid any inauspicious incident outside the accountability court upon the PMLN VP’s appearance.

In a previous hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested the court to grant an extension of 15 days in their physical remand but the court gave the bureau a 7-day extension instead.
NAB revealed that Sharif Family had used Chaudhry Sugar Mills for money-laundering and illegal transfer of its shares.
Marywam Nazaw and her cousin Yousaf Abbas were arrested in August by the NAB in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to the NAB, transactions worth millions of rupees were made under Chaudhry and Shamim mills.
It was also claimed by the NAB that three foreigners had transferred 11000 shares worth millions of rupees on Maryam Nawaz’s name.
