ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and vowed to bring Machh tragedy killers to justice.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister house, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid was also present.
The unfortunate Machh, Balochistan incident was highly condemned. It was resolved that the perpetrators would be brought to justice, read the statement.

The continuous human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and the frequent ceasefire violations over the Line of Control (LOC) also came under discussion.

During the meeting, they discussed the national security situation, the Afghan peace process, Indian ceasefire violations along Line of Control (LoC) and regional security matters.

Earlier, 11 coal miners were killed in the Mach area of Balochistan after unknown armed terrorists and took them to nearby mountains before opening fire at close range. Police sources said the workers were on the way to work when the terrorist kidnapped them and took them to the nearby mountains.
Sources further said six of the works were dead on the spot, and five who were critically injured died on the way to a hospital. The preliminary investigation disclosed the attackers identified the workers as being from the Shia Hazara community and the militants took them away for execution, leaving others unharmed.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had condemned the miners’ killing, terming it yet another gutless inhumane act of terrorism. “Have asked the Frontier Corps to use all resources to arrest these killers and bring them to justice. The families of the victims will not be left abandoned by the govt, the PM said in a tweet.
