LAHORE: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that the PDM coalition government wants to make a war between the army and the people.
According to the details, the former chief minister asked in one of his statements that at the time of the attack on Jinnah House, where were the Punjab Police and IG? “When Jinnah House was attacked, these people were watching the spectacle,” he said.
In the statement, the PTI leader said that the PDM government did not knowingly secure or try to protect government and military installations. “There should be a transparent inquiry,” he said.
The former chief minister said that if there is a fair and transparent investigation, the secret hand of the PDM government will come to light in the events of May 9.
Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that Imran Khan is trying to cool down the people while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is inciting fire. “PDM wants a war between the army and the people,” he said.

Pervez Elahi said that nothing will be achieved by putting Mamaji’s court in the National Assembly. There is no opposition, nor are there full numbers of members of the assembly.
He said that the government submitted armed groups before the Supreme Court, thus PDM exposed its ugly face. The Supreme Court should take contempt of court proceedings.
