False cases suffer against opposition, says Sherry Rehman

SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentary leader in the Senate Sherry Rehman has said that the false cases suffer against opposition but leave behind a legacy of democratic erosion.

During a press conference in Sukkur, Sherry Rehman said that false cases suffer against opposition but defeat the purposes of real accountability or justice.

Rehman posted a tweet, “No accountability process can ever be considered legitimate if it is not rooted in transparency and one standard for all.”

Rehman said that several ministers and advisers of the government were facing charges in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) inquiries but no action being taken against them.
